If you are bringing me a document that needs to be notarized, please do not sign it beforehand. My job is to verify that you are the person signing, and I must see you do that in person for it to be legally notarized.
Please keep copies of notarized documents in a secure location. For privacy reasons, I cannot retain any copies and so cannot provide you with a new copy of a document if it is lost.
Valid picture IDs are required.
